So, “ending” of the “novel” TFB

So. Just finished. I am kind of unsatisfied. At the same time, I think the reason why it feels so unsatisfying is due to the fact that the prose all are separate unless hinted or stated otherwise! I mean, if we ended on the Blind? Prue savage tears are coming out!

yet the two gunners made me feel like I wanted more! I needed that extra sauce! The cherry on my cream! Everything! Maybe that attests to Borden’s ability to leave anyone dissatisfied or wanting more, but…for those who have read Audre Lord’s prose memoir “Zami: a new spelling of my Name,” that was a satisfying end to a memoir, like with prose elements. If Borden is trying to achieve something akin, you think she would do a more satisfactory type of ending, but this acts as the last poem-prose of an anthology. Nothing is absolute. Just ends with

“stick it”

“A1 at Lloyd’s, Madam”

That shit is raw, but idk about the story ending raw yet. Or maybe never, just like Madi, ask me this Thursday. Not tomorrow. I will not have that answer…
