Snow day…gee I wonder how the trenches are like-

Happy snow say. Enjoy working on projects, go grinding, eat soup, peoplewatch, do anything before doomday of this website nuking itself on the 7th! I just haharzardly got into the grove for snow somehow who knows… 🙂

  1. Where did you find all these photos, Heather? I’m impressed!

    Snow was something I hadn’t even considered. Living in the trenches must have been extra miserable in the cold and wet. Also, soldiers would stand out more against the snow, meaning that it would be easier for people to shoot each other. I wonder if the beauty of the snow lifted anyone’s spirits (in All Quiet, the natural beauty behind the lines did comfort Paul some in the beginning) or if the misery of being cold and wet made everyone hate it. I would personally have lost myself to the misery of the cold. What do you think you would have felt, Heather?
